They really didn’t keep them, the ones hanging from doorways were actually fabricated material from the bark of the Shun Trees. Supple, able to turn it into just about anything, the trees were a valuable commodity and used in just about everything and theirs was the only planet that could grow them and for the measly advantage of killing as they wished, they’d traded the trees for the rights to be the only assassins around.
